Since I can't be like you kool kats and post my kit shit on ASS without you guys finding out who I am, I'll post what will eventually be my loadout here. I'm going for something that works for me and is HSLD. I don't really have a budget so I can consider revising some things, as long as they are reasonable. My goal is to finish most of this by the end of summer. I've done a little bit of research as to what is good and what isn't as good so I hope this kit list looks decent. Here it goes :
First Line:
HSGI Sure Grip War Belt
HSGI Cobra Riggers Belt
Safariland 6004 for a 226 on my right
HSGI double decker taco on my reaction side
HSGI pistol taco reaction side
Tyr small dumper reaction side/ middle back
Tyr Frag pouch on my right, behind the 6004
Second Line:
Start out with AWS OCPC*
BFG admin pouch
LBT 2645a triple mag insert*
Tyr triple shingle*
Emdom vehicle hydration pack (still up for debate on what hydro/ pack to run)
Right side will be slick for easy draws
Left side may or may not have a Tyr small utility, I'll see how I like it.*
Helmet:
Dragon Red FAST premium ballistic
First Spear hybrid cover
Tyr counterweight pouch
S&S manta strobe (might swap for a clone)
GoPro mount thingy for the front
Smith boogie regulators with a mount
Other:
Crye AC combat set
PIG FDT alpha gloves
MS2 sling/ PIG mk1 sling/ VTAC sling/ BFG sling (input please)
Lowa Zephyr GTX boots (love 'em much more than my Merrel MOABs)*
LBT wheeled kit bag*
* = what I have bought as of 3/25
I've been waiting awhile but my AWS OCPC should ship tomorrow and my Tyr pouches soon. I bought a Tactical Tailor shingle in the mean time just in case Tyr wants to take extra long. I'm very early on into my kitlist so I should have many opportunities to update my thread with pics and the like.
My guns will be a VFC PDW, TM p226, and a VFC block 2 (eventually, still need to build it). For the curious, the PDW will be at 40 rps and the block 2 at 30.
If I get really into this whole gear thing, I'll buy a FCPC.
Any and all input is welcome, coming from you guys. Thanks - VCR.

But I already bought all of those Tyr pouches that you didn't like.  Oh well. Those will have to stay. I'll consider another admin but I don't want one that's just a huge slab of velcro with a pistol/ light pouch on the side like most of them. I may buy the separate tacos instead of the double, it just depends on my cash flow. My MOABs are just fine. Nice boots and all, it's just that my Lowa Zephyrs are pure sex. Also for the assault/ hydro packs, would a mayflower or ferro assault back panel be a good idea? They seem pretty cool. |

I only disliked one of the Tyr pouches. Its not a bid deal anyways, just personal preference. No one knows what a normal admin does they have all sorts of internal organization and hold plenty, if you wanna store your big crap, put it in the Tyr G/P. The double stacked mag will make it hard to draw, and since that will be your reaction/ fast ammo, I'd suggest heavily against it. You said they were uncomfortable to me :/ I still need to try on some Zephyrs to check em out. The MRC assault panel is kick ass. DO EET. NAOW. |

Well, my VFC motor just burnt out so it looks like I'm going to have to put some pouches and things on hold until I get my AEG back to running beautifully. Also, knowing me, I can't just get one replacement part if I'm buying from clandestine, I have to buy all Lonex and several parts even though I don't need them all. Oh well. Lonex Reds here I come.

Slight change. So AWS said they'd ship out my PC like 2-3 weeks ago but they keep postponing it for whatever reason and now they have just decided to stop replying to my emails and phone calls. I've decided to cancel that order and buy a APC while optac had them in stock. So I ordered on and it should be here sometime this week. ALSO, selling my PDW and current m4 to buy a new G&P block 2.

Had some extra money lying around and ordered a BFG boo boo pouch, BFG frag pouch, an HSGI taco, and some chem lights. Pics will come once it all gets here.
I wish Tyr wouldn't take so long...

 What I have for the PC as of now. I was going to run the BFG boo boo above the shingle but, like tomato said for the admin, it restricts the mag accessibility. So I just put it behind the taco. |
