 inb4 p0tat0 pic. G&P MRP with some magpul stuff. I like it. Recently traded Custard my 417 for this. Has a Lonex A2 with misc other up's. Probably a keeper, much nicer in person or if I had a better lit picture. That battery bag looks horrible. ;D |

I concur... I enjoy M4's and M16's, don't get me wrong. But there was something so special about dat 417.

I don't. Don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful gun but in terms of usability and how it conforms to my style, it wasn't logical to keep it. I prefer the shorter guns that are maneuverable and easy to upgrade. I never run a stock gun. The 417 GB is bitch apparently. A few proprietary parts and very difficult to shim with its V2 motor cage like mechanism thing. It's also very large, heavy, and bulky. I play field 9/10 times but I speedball it most of the time. Mags were also expensive. And shit, if I can sell a STOCK AEG for $500 or trade it for one worth a grand, I'll do it any day. Was saving for a VFC mk18 or APC but I couldn't pass this MRP up. I'll get non potato pics soon. I only use battery bags to use my brick LiPos.

Can we ban a guy here for admitting to playing speedsoft? Honestly, the purpose of this forum is as a MilSim community. I wouldn't say that it's a bannable offense, but this certainly isn't the place for it. |

Call it what you will, I enjoy using my guns the most I can. Most of the time I do it for the team I'm on, not by choice. Games get boring when people sit behind 250'+ and nothing happens in those games. Milsim is a joke around here. Nobody uses even midcaps and they think spending more than $40 on a crossdraw is stupid expensive for gear.

Eh, that's why I'm pushing for a "unified front" in the MilSim community. We can't spread if guys in places like where you live are just stranded amongst a sea of speedsofters.
